Configure Displays doesn't keep modified settings

Hi there,

Every time Kicksecure (as Host or VM in KVM) reboots, the display settings I changed manually have disappeared.

How to keep my personalized choices and have them by default?

Same as on Debian with LXQt / labwc and Wayland.

wdisplays is unfortunately not able to make persistent display changes, and there wasn’t a better alternative available. If you are OK with writing configuration files to declare how your displays should be set up, kanshi might work.

Version 18.1.3.9 and above will come with usability improvements.

kanshi will be reachable via start menu and System Maintenance Panel.
