I connect an external monitor to my laptop, how do I turn only the external monitor on and the laptop screen off?
also the multimedia keys on the laptop don’t work. F1-F12 do work

Second question: how to add a widget to display the language of the current layout? kbindicator widget is not added to the panel

Can be configured for the current session using wdisplays (pre-installed, click Start Menu → Preferences → Displays), or persistently using kanshi (also pre-installed). See:

Doesn’t seem like LXQt/labwc has this feature yet. Some workaround ideas are here:
