Cool!
I was reflecting on the comments made by GrapheneOS devs regarding KickSecure and wondered why the hate? I have installed Luks2/Argon2id, hardened my VMs and am “relatively” safer side of internet actions. Mind you, i have been using exclusively Graphene since Micay left Copperhead and started Graphene. I see some say KS is nothing more than Debian on steroids..
I tried installing Qubes, and after a week or so of attempts, i stumbled across KickSecure (17 at the time) and tried it out. The upgrade from 17 to 18 was a game changer. Wayland, Virtio, etc,
The hardest part of KS was getting used to the no-sudo in user profile. But after a while, it becomes second nature. Bootup, Check Updates, install, reboot. I have to admit that i had to sneak a browser in to sysmaint for ease of setup. because the switching back and forth is basically a deal-breaker for usage. but as long as i am only using the browser for access for info from trusted sources, i deem it to be relatively safe
