VBoxManage error: Code NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG (0x80070057)

Yeah the manual timezone input was correct.

Now having an error when attempting the “whonix-xfce-installer-cli”:

Interpreting /home/user/dist-installer-cli-download/Whonix-Xfce-17.3.9.9.Intel_AMD64.ova

OK.

0%…NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG

VBoxManage: error: Appliance import failed

Let me google that for you.

Insufficient disk space.

64 G drive, how large are these VMs?

What is size of Whonix install? could be RAM limitation?

what are disk space and RAM requirements?

ISO live mode?

By the way, the systemcheck command failing is what prompted the

output “–set-home clock-random-manual-gui”

Can you explain this further? The issue is a lack of disk space on a fairly large USB drive, or it is a RAM limitation?

This could be a permissions limitation?

When this script is run with ‘sudo’ it returns error about not running as root.

It is a circular logic problem? You need root permissions, but can’t run

the script as root.
